Bibliography

The literature on Elie Wiesel is extensive, but many of the materials, especially the periodicals, are hard to get. Only those sources which were actually used in the preparation of this essay are listed here; the available literature, however, ranges much more widely. In the case of Wiesel’s own books, many are available in both hardcover and paperback. I have indicated where I used the paperback editions, since the pagination in these will differ from the hardcover editions.
